The Welsh Masters 2004 |
|
On September 12th 2004, the annual Welsh Masters field target championship was held at the shooting ground of Pontypool A.R.C. Following a shooting season of fine weather and particularly good shooting conditions, the competitors were treated to a day of high winds and heavy showers of rain. Despite these very trying conditions, a respectable turnout ensured a competitive day of shooting that appeared to be enjoyed by all. The preparation of the 80 shot Masters competition involved extensive work before the event, and I would like to thank all members of the Welsh Field Target Association that offered their time and efforts so that the competition could take place. A special thank you goes to Marilyn Snook for her efforts in organising the hot food and drinks on the day; in the cold and wet conditions they were appreciated by all. |
