Nelson Open Shoot
Hello all,
As there is a month between Avon Hawks shoot an May 11th and the next Wafta shoot on June 15th at Blaina, so Berty and I have come up with a plan for an open shoot on Sunday May 25th at Nelson. Its bank Holiday weekend so rather than spend 3 days in B&Q here is your opportunity to keep the cobwebs off the gun and enjoy at least part of the holiday! There will be a 25 shot "open course," though mostly set out as per Wafta / Bfta rules. The idea is to shoot it once in the morning, have a small lunch break and then shoot it again in the afternoon. There will probably be a few changes between the two sessions, such as changing standing / kneeling lanes around. Entry is scheduled to be £5. There will be no trophies but cash prize of at least £15 (Sponsored by Affordable Photography -me,Simon!) for 1st in A class, 1st in B class and 1st C class. So, if interested let us know and book the date into your Diary. If you could let other members of your respective clubs know too that would be appreciated. Being a wooded course its good practice for anyone going to Gp 4 the week after at Tawd Vale, method in our madness!
Hope to see you there,
Berty,
